How to use it
- Start with 1 handful of wood chips and discover what you like best. Prefer subtle? Use a little less. Want it more intense? Feel free to add extra during smoking. Taste remains personal.
- Are you using the wood chips directly on the coals? Then you can soak them for 20 to 30 minutes, so they burn slower and release smoke more gradually. Are you using a smoker box, smoke tube, or foil pouch? Then you can use them dry for a quicker and more intense smoke start.
- Sprinkle the wood chips on the hot coals or use a smoker box/tube. Place your food on the BBQ, close the lid, and keep the airflow stable. In a short time, you'll enjoy that delicious extra smoky flavor.
